I love these signs. I love their blues, reds, and yellows. The simple shapes work with the colors to create a straightforwardness; caricatures of bikes and people, in primary colors, on circles, squares, arrows, and triangles, it’s everything you’d find in a nursery or preschool, yet these signs are intended for common consumption. The universality and simplicity of these colors and shapes may be intentional (to convey messages in places where foreigners and tourists can drive through entire countries without knowing a word of that country’s language), but they are also incredibly charming.
